You Talk Too Loud!
Throughout my life, I was constantly told that I spoke too loudly, that I wasn’t enough, that I’d never succeed as a graphic designer, and that I was a quitter. I endured a barrage of negative comments. To this day, I still remember when my college professor told me in front of the entire class that I should give up on my dream of becoming a graphic designer. He said I wouldn't get into the program nor would I make it as a designer. I ran out of that classroom crying and never returned. A year later I applied for the graphic design program at The University of Utah and got in. Now, 11+ years later, I'm a successful designer.
When I was 25 I started on a self growth journey. I dove into taking care of my health and reading personal development. Shortly after starting I realized I needed to shed the labels others had placed on me. I needed to embrace my true self and love who I am. I was finished with the labels that didn’t resonate with me and decided to start loving myself unconditionally.
My mom and I launched Talking Too Loud Apparel in 2023 with a simple mission: to inspire self-love in a world that often forgets its importance. Join us in inspiring others to be loud and proud.
